Terms of Service

Stashly is a trading name of RYJOX Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. References to "Stashly", "we", "us" and "our" in these terms mean RYJOX Technologies Ltd.

Stashly is a marketplace connecting people with space to store goods or park vehicles (hosts) with people who need it (renters). A host chooses one of two ways to list.

On a Super host listing, Stashly is the counterparty to each booking: a renter contracts with Stashly, Stashly licenses the space from the host, collects rent, holds the deposit and runs the guarantee described below. The Storage Licence and the Host Agreement apply.

On a self hosted listing, Stashly only introduces the renter to the host. Any agreement, payment, deposit or dispute is between the renter and the host directly. Stashly is not a party to it, charges no fee on it, and the guarantee, the Storage Licence and the payment terms in these documents do not apply to it. A self hosted listing shows its price as "per month" with no service fee.

Stashly does not own, inspect, or guarantee any listed space, is not a party's agent, and is not an insurer or a provider of legal or financial advice.

You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. We may require email, phone, and identity verification, and may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts to prevent fraud, illegality, or harm.

A host may list and take bookings before verifying, but Stashly releases no payout until the host's identity is verified and payout details are set up.

Listing is free and hosts never pay a commission on either kind of listing.

On a Super host listing, renters pay the host's monthly rent plus a single service fee, shown before payment. Hosts keep 100% of the rent they set. Payments are processed by Stripe, in Canadian dollars, and may be subject to applicable taxes.

On a self hosted listing, no payment passes through Stashly and no fee is charged to anyone. The host and renter agree the price, any deposit and how payment is made between themselves.

If a renter defaults and abandons goods, Stashly serves the required notices and arranges for the goods to be collected and moved to a licensed storage facility at the renter's cost, so the host's space is cleared. Stashly contributes up to CAD 2,000 toward that cost, on top of the deposit. This is a limited service guarantee. It does not insure anyone's goods, and it does not replace a host's rental income.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Stashly is not liable for loss of or damage to stored goods, for the acts of any host or renter, or for indirect loss. Nothing removes rights that cannot be excluded under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, subject to your consumer rights.
